Mount Everest Expedition North Tibet

Explore the Himalayas of Nepal at Affordable Price on Nepal Visit 2020| Mount Everest Expedition North Tibet

Mount Everest North is Located in the border area with Nepal and Tibet. It rises at an altitude of 8848 m (29,028 ft) high above sea level. It is the tallest mountain in the world. It is also called Sagarmatha in Nepali which means Goddess of the Sky. Mount Everest was first climbed on May 29, 1953, by Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay from Nepal via the South Col route. Snowy Yak in Tibet

Mount Everest expedition begins after your arrival in Kathmandu. Our team member will welcome you at Kathmandu airport and transfer you to the Hotel. Next day we will have a meeting at Friendship World Trek and Expeditions (P) Ltd. at Boudha. We will meet our expedition crews and discuss the expedition and check the required expedition equipment for safety purposes. As Friendship World Trek and Expeditions team is working as a sale agent of Tibet Mountaineering Association, we will have all expedition permits and required documents in our hand. We will just collect the passport from all climbers and make Tibet visa on the same day. Being a good relationship with TMA we can solve any problem aroused during the trek or expedition.

According to the expedition, the program team will drive to Zangmu via Aranico highway and Friendship Bridge. At the friendship bridge staff from Tibet Mountaineering Association will be waiting for our expedition group. Expedition Team members will drive on a 4WD land cruiser and expedition equipment will be carried by truck. After driving 5 days (1 night in Zangmu, 2 Nights in Nylam and 2 Nights in Tingri) we will reach Everest Base camp. Chinese call it Chinese Base Camp. Everest base camp is situated at an altitude of 5200 m. We will set camp here for 2 or 3 (depends on the expedition team health) days to acclimatize and check expedition equipment once more. After, we will walk for 2 days to reach the Everest advance base camp. It is situated at an altitude of (6400m) which is on the moraine below the North Col. Mount Everest Expedition climbing starts from this point

Short information about climbing route:

Camp 1 (7010m) established on the North Col and is probably the most important camp and Offers the springboard for the remainder of the ascent.

Camp 2 (7800m) high on the North Ridge, often a wild and windy place but one that offers superb views. The climb is a straight forward snow slope. We advise members to start using oxygen from here in order to save their strength for the task ahead.

Camp 3 (8200m) established below the first step and the start of the technical difficulties. The ascent is over slightly steeper more broken ground. The final summit push will be made from this camp, the highest in the world.

Climbing Sherpa guide:
We facilitate highly professional, well trained and qualified climbing Sherpas for your expeditions. They are very useful in your each and every step of support, which makes your climbing easier to restore your strained energy and it gives you vigorous strength for your next day’s climbing
